Logging in to the Dashboard

Needs to be given an operator-level UI user by us

Get the Image

  • download the image

  • write the sd card

  • install the sd card in the pi

Identify and customise the PIs

  • power-up the pi

  • find the pi in the UI & verify which one it is

  • customise name

  • select services (aka plugins)

  • save

Configure services

  • suspended state to allow reconfiguration

  • configure services

  • download templates for modbus etc

  • _edit the templates & verify with SMC _

Physically install the Pi

  • take it onsite

  • plug in the hardware

  • power it up

  • verify it comes online

  • deploy

  • verify it works

If it goes wrong

  • suspend

  • modify the erroneous configuration

  • verify

When does a rename take effect? Want to notify users that this will happen.
