SD Card Images
SD Card images for raspberry pis can be downloaded via the dashboard at Admin > Provisioning > SD Card Images.
Available Images
All the images available to your account are visible here Available Images section.
If there is an image missing that you need, please contact support@smartermicrogrid.com.
Creating an Image
To create an image, click on the Create Image button for the image version you need.
You will need to know which hardware the image is being installed to - i.e. which Raspberry Pi board you are provisioning. You can also add optional WiFi credentials here.
You can optionally set the WiFi credentials at this stage too. If you do not set them now, they cannot be set later for this particular image; you will have to recreate the image.
Developer images will not automatically join the SMC network, so do not select this option unless you are absolutely sure you know what you are doing.
When you submit the creation request, an image will start building in the background.

You can then download, recreate or delete the image as desired.
| Each image only supports one version at this time, so re-creating the image will destroy the previous version. |
Locking an Image
If you want to prevent the image accidentally being deleted or recreated with different configuration, you can click on the lock icon against that image.
This will also protect this image from being removed from the Available Images list by adminstrators.
You can unlock the image again by clicking on the lock icon again.
